Galaxy Note7 sales to resume in the US on October 21 just as the LG V20 becomes available

In South Korea, Samsung will resume sales of the Galaxy Note7 on September 28. However, in other markets it will take a lot longer for the company to have safe units available for purchase.

In the US, the Note7 will only be back on sale on October 21, according to a new report. Thats almost one full month after Korea, but whats more interesting is that LGs recently unveiled V20 phablet will become available stateside on the exact same day. So October 21 will be when both Korean giants will have their respective 5.7-inch phones on offer through US carriers.

Of course, if youve already got a Note7, the replacement program is still ongoing in the US, and safe devices for replacement have already started to arrive in the country. As its doing across the world, Samsung is prioritizing the exchange of fire-prone Note7 phones over the sale of new safe units to people who didnt have one of the hazardous ones in the first place.
